Looking for Jewelry Seen on The Vampire Diaries?

Kat Graham Wears Loralyn Designs Jewelry on The Vampire Diaries

Last night, Bonnie Bennett (aka Kat Graham) wore Loralyn Designs Black Iron Diamond Necklace on The Vampire Diaries - "Resident Evil" Season 5 Episode 18.  The unique diamond-shaped pendant is made from a combination of cast iron and stainless steel with a metallic resin center.

I designed it last year for a gifting to the wardrobe stylist of the show through The Artisan Group.  Although the gifting was not geared towards a specific character, I did have Bonnie in mind when creating this piece.  Powerful, strong and feminine.

This is the second necklace from Loralyn Designs that has been featured on the show.  Last year my Steel Celtic Cross Necklace was worn by Vampire Hunter Galen Vaughn, played by Charlie Bewley.

Another one of my designs will be on the show in a few weeks.  Stay tuned!

Pieces from other designers worn on Vampire Diaries episode 5x18 "Resident Evil":

Julie Ellyn Designs Dark Moon Necklace was worn by Caroline played by Candice Accola.

Chloe Alyson Botswana Agate and Silver Pave Tube Bead Bracelet was worn by Bonnie Bennett.

Amazing Metalwork by Monique Rancourt

I met Monique last year at the Paradise City Show in Marlborough, MA.  Her display was raw, industrial looking, and stood out from everyone else at the show.  From afar you saw raw thick dark pipes topped with fantastic natural shaped wood stained in a dark brownish red.   After standing in awe of the display itself, I went in for a closer look.  Wow!  Monique's jewelry was nothing short of amazing!  On top of the various wood surfaces were intricate necklaces, rings, bracelets and earrings.

I talked to Monique for a bit about her jewelry and techniques (wish I got a picture). She is so easy to talk to, and it is apparent from the start that she is very passionate about her craft.  In addition to her amazing jewelry, she also teaches classes on metalsmithing at MetalWerx in Waltham, MA.

Of course, I didn't leave empty handed.  Check out my new earrings!

You can check out a gallery of Monique's jewelry here along with a list of upcoming shows.
